Tile Africa has introduced three new porcelain tile ranges in a larger 700x1400mm format, adding further options for residential and commercial interiors. The new collections, Opalite, Misty Pearl and Sereno Storm, combine stone-inspired designs with two different surface finishes, offering customers greater flexibility when selecting flooring and wall coverings.
The larger format is designed to create a more continuous appearance across floors and walls, with fewer individual tiles required to cover a given area. This also reduces the number of grout lines, helping to create a cleaner finish and a greater sense of space.
All three collections are manufactured from rectified porcelain and are available in two finishes: Matt Carving and Polished. Each provides a different surface appearance, allowing the same design to be adapted to different interior styles and lighting conditions.
Sereno Storm introduces natural stone detailing
Sereno Storm features a combination of cool grey and silver tones, balanced by warmer undertones. Its flowing veins and gradual tonal variations create a natural stone appearance, with a softer overall colour profile than conventional stark grey surfaces.
The Matt Carving finish gives the collection a lightly textured surface with a subtle sheen, while the Polished option provides a smoother appearance, bringing greater definition to the silver veining.
The 700x1400mm dimensions allow the pattern to extend across larger areas, reducing visual interruptions from grout lines. This makes the collection suitable for open-plan interiors where a consistent floor finish is desired.
Misty Pearl offers a lighter colour palette
Misty Pearl combines ivory tones with soft oyster shades and fine grey-beige veining. The design provides an alternative to plain white flooring, introducing subtle variation while retaining a light appearance.
Its Matt Carving finish creates a softly textured surface with a low sheen, while the Polished version reflects more daylight and makes the delicate veining more visible.
The larger tile dimensions allow the colours and patterns to flow across wider floor areas, creating a more consistent appearance with fewer grout lines.
Opalite brings an onyx-inspired design
The Opalite collection takes inspiration from the layered appearance of onyx, using a pale white background with subtle tonal changes and cloud-like patterns.
Its design creates a sense of depth through variations in the surface pattern, without relying on strong contrasts or prominent veining.
The Matt Carving finish provides a gently textured surface with a low sheen, while the Polished version reflects light and gives greater definition to the tile’s layered appearance.
Available in the larger 700x1400mm format, Opalite can be used across floors and walls, with fewer grout lines helping to maintain continuity across larger surfaces.
