Fibo is presenting its wall panel systems at Material Source Studio in London, giving architects, designers and construction professionals an opportunity to explore its products for bathrooms, kitchens and other interior projects.
The display features Fibo’s waterproof wall panels, which provide an alternative to traditional tiles. The panels are designed for wet rooms and other areas where moisture resistance and straightforward maintenance are required.
Manufactured in Norway, Fibo panels use a plywood core with a high-pressure laminate surface. The system incorporates Aqualock tongue-and-groove joints, allowing panels to connect with concealed fixings and reducing the need for grout.
Fibo’s wall systems are designed for residential and commercial projects, including new-build housing, modular construction and refurbishment. The panels can be installed in bathrooms, showers and kitchens, subject to the relevant product specifications and installation requirements.
The company states that its panels can be installed faster than traditional tiling, potentially reducing installation time on projects where programme and labour costs are key considerations.
