Abode has introduced new handle options for its Scandi-X boiling and filtered water tap, giving customers more choice when matching kitchen fittings to their interior design. The additions include colour-matched controls and optional beechwood handles, expanding the customisation available across the range.
The Scandi-X combines instant boiling water, filtered cold water and standard hot and cold mains water in a single tap. Its design features curved lines, a geometric-style spout and dual-lever controls, with a two-stage safety handle designed to provide controlled access to boiling water.
The new handle options respond to changing preferences in kitchen design, particularly the use of natural materials, warmer colours and darker finishes. The beechwood handles introduce a contrasting texture to the tap’s main body, offering an alternative to the standard colour-matched controls.
Beechwood has been selected for its consistent texture, appearance and strength. The handles are available as an optional upgrade, allowing customers to personalise the tap without changing the core product.
The Scandi-X is powered by Abode’s compact PB3X boiler, which supplies instant boiling water while reducing the need for a separate kettle on the worktop. Other features include a precision filter designed to maintain a steady water flow, adjustable temperature settings and safety controls.
The tap is available in three finishes: Matt Black, Matt White and Scandi Grey. Colour-matched handles are included as standard, while the optional beechwood handle pack costs £49.
