Billington secures £28 million of contract wins across three sectors

BILN

Billington Holdings (LON:BILN), one of the UK’s leading structural steel and construction safety solutions specialists, has highlighted three recent significant contract wins across a range of sectors with an expected combined value of circa £28 million.

The contracts, which are scheduled largely for delivery during 2027, represent further progress in the Group’s strategy of securing high-quality projects with strong end-user and sector credentials.

Education Sector – North-West London

The Group has secured a contract for a prestigious multi-storey development within the education sector in North-West London. The project forms part of a significant new campus development, providing a modern learning environment and reflecting continued investment in education infrastructure. Billington’s scope of work has a contract value of approximately £6 million and is scheduled for delivery during 2027.

Energy from Waste – East of England

Billington has secured a further energy from waste project for a repeat client in Eastern England. The project will contribute towards the development of sustainable energy infrastructure, supporting the transition of waste materials into renewable energy solutions. This latest contract award further strengthens Billington’s position in this specialist sector, with the contract having a value of approximately £12 million, with delivery expected during 2027.

Defence Sector – South-East England

The Group has received an initial limited instruction in relation to a project within the defence sector in South-East England. Subject to further development of the project, the Company expects that this initial instruction will mature into a full order in the near term, with an expected contract value of approximately £10 million. Delivery is expected to take place during 2027.

In addition, the Group continues to see a healthy pipeline of opportunities across its key market sectors and remains focused on delivering complex structural steel solutions for major infrastructure, commercial, industrial and specialist projects.

Mark Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Billington, commented:

“These contract awards reflect our focus on securing high-quality work across a diverse range of sectors and demonstrate the confidence that leading clients continue to place in Billington’s engineering expertise and delivery capability.

“Together, these projects provide further confidence for delivering 2027 in line with market expectations and strengthen our already healthy order book. While we remain mindful of the wider economic environment, we continue to see encouraging opportunities across our core markets and remain focused on the selective pursuit of projects that offer the right commercial and operational fit for the Group. We look forward to working closely with our customers to deliver these important projects safely, efficiently and to the high standards for which Billington is recognised.”
