Union Jack Oil plc (LON: UJO), a UK focused onshore conventional hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company, noted the announcement issued by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on behalf of the UK Government, on 2nd November 2019, in respect of a shale gas moratorium.

This statement will have no impact on Union Jack Oil’s continuing and planned future production, development and exploration operations which are exclusively conventional.

The Company has no intent to engage in hydraulic fracturing operations in England, neither now nor in the future.
