Hilton Food Group plc (LON:HFG) has announced that Gwyn Burr has been appointed to the Company’s board of directors as a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Board’s Remuneration and Sustainability Committees with effect from 3 September 2026. Following its announcement on 27 May 2026, the Company is now able to confirm that Rebecca Shelley will step down from the Board on 3 September 2026.
Gwyn has over 20 years of non-executive board experience across listed, private and mutual organisations. She is currently Chair of the board of the Skipton Group and a Non-executive Director of international food wholesaler Metro AG. Her previous non-executive experience includes roles as a Non-executive Director, Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair with Just Eat Takeaway, Taylor Wimpey plc, Hammerson plc, Made.com Group plc and Sainsbury’s Bank plc. Gwyn’s executive career spanned 25 years and included roles with Nestle / Rowntree, ASDA and Sainsbury’s, where she served latterly as Customer Services & Colleague Director.
