Hilton Food Group agrees £5.4m sale of Dalco Food

HFG

Hilton Food Group plc (LON:HFG), the international red meat partner of choice, has reached an agreement to sell Dalco Food B.V., its Dutch-based Vegan and Vegetarian business, to Livekindly Production NL B.V. for total consideration of £5.4m. The transaction remains subject to standard approvals and deliverables, including consultation with the local works council.

The disposal is consistent with the Group’s strategy to focus investment on and drive growth from its core meat and fresh prepared food businesses, while seeking to improve performance and maximise value from its Seafood, Vegan and Vegetarian businesses.

Dalco is expected to be treated as an asset held for sale in the Group’s 2026 Interim Results, due to be announced on 3 September 2026. Dalco made an adjusted operating loss of approximately £2m in the first half of 2026, which is expected to be reported as a loss from discontinued operations.
