Hammerson appoints Gina Szymanski as CFO

Hammerson plc (LON:HMSO) has announces the appointment of Gina Szymanski as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Company.

Gina is expected to take up her role and join the Board no later than 1 January 2027. The Company will make a further announcement as required.   

Gina joins Hammerson from AEW Capital Management, where she currently serves as Global Securities Chief Investment Officer, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Having started her career as a forensic accountant and equity analyst, she has since built extensive experience across finance, capital markets, investment, REITs and corporate strategy. Gina will relocate to the UK prior to taking up her role with the Company.

Gina’s appointment follows a thorough recruitment process, supported by an independent executive search firm.
