Cerillion implementation of new BSS/OSS solution a fantastic achievement

Cerillion plc

Cerillion plc (LON:CER), the billing, charging and customer relationship management software solutions provider, has announced the completion of a strategically important implementation for Norlys, which supports the planned expansion of Norlys’s wholesale business. Norlys is Denmark’s largest telecommunications and energy group.

The implementation enables Norlys to connect its fibre infrastructure network to Denmark’s open access wholesale platform, thereby making its fibre services easily accessible to other Danish service providers through a standardised wholesale gateway. The implementation automates service fulfilment and will also enable Norlys to expand its services through partnering with other infrastructure owners.

Cerillion believes there is further opportunity to assist Norlys to realise its growth ambitions and for the relationship to deepen over the coming year.

Norlys is an innovator in the fibre broadband industry and operates a model that separates infrastructure and service provision.

Magnus Just Olesen, Vice-President of Net Planning at Norlys, said:

“The successful implementation of our new BSS/OSS solution is a fantastic achievement by Cerillion and our team at Norlys, opening up significant new opportunities for us to grow and expand our infrastructure business.

“Automating our fibre service fulfilment with Cerillion has created a highly scalable business model which allows us to focus on further network expansion; Cerillion actively contributes with their Telco expertise, for the benefit of our business development.”

Louis Hall, Chief Executive Officer at Cerillion plc, said:

“We are very pleased to have completed this important implementation for Norlys. The structural separation of infrastructure owners from service providers has put Denmark at the forefront of the fibre broadband industry, driving network investments and delivering greater choice and better service levels to end customers. Norlys is at the leading edge of this revolution, and we are delighted to be helping them to grow their business with our digital BSS/OSS solutions.”
