The clips lock into place and can be reused, allowing the strap to be adjusted. Their flat and smooth surfaces help reduce abrasion when worn, while the closure and release mechanism operates using finger pressure. The kit is designed for quick assembly in production environments. The standard elastic strap measures 19mm wide, with alternative widths available from 15mm and in 1mm increments up to 19mm.
TR Fastenings also supplies its L-bow Handle, a hands-free door opener designed for healthcare and other environments where reducing direct contact with door handles is required.
The L-bow Handle fits compatible existing door handles and allows doors to be opened using the forearm rather than the hand. The product combines plastic with stainless steel components and fits horizontal and vertical handles measuring between 19mm and 22mm in diameter. TR Fastenings says the L-bow Handle installs quickly and provides an alternative method of operating doors without direct hand contact.
