Quadrise moves to make marine fuel switching easier to assess

Quadrise plc

Quadrise is taking a more practical approach to winning interest in marine fuels. Working with Sustainable Ships, the company has developed a web-based comparison tool that allows shipowners and operators to test whether switching from conventional fuels to MSAR® or bioMSAR™ could improve costs, emissions and regulatory exposure on a vessel-by-vessel basis.

That matters because shipping customers do not buy into fuel change on theory alone. They need to know what it means for their own operations, their own compliance position and their own cost base. By giving users a way to compare conventional fuels with Quadrise’s products using real vessel data, the company is trying to move the conversation from general promise to a more immediate commercial case.

The tool is designed to show how Quadrise fuels compare on fuel costs, emissions and the likely compliance impact under EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime and upcoming IMO requirements.

The new tool supports that message by helping shipowners judge relevance quickly. A customer can explore whether the economics and compliance outcomes look attractive for a specific vessel and then contact Quadrise to discuss suitability in more detail. That creates a more direct route from initial interest to potential engagement.
