Quadrise advances marine biofuel technology at key industry workshop

Quadrise plc

Quadrise highlighted the investor relevance of its core marine biofuel and heavy fuel alternatives at an industry workshop in Washington in November 2025. The presentation underlined Quadrise’s strategic focus on commercialising its patented emulsion fuel technologies and progressing discussions with marine and energy partners, offering investors a clearer view of where the company is in its development cycle and what lies ahead.

The session introduced Quadrise’s Multi‑phase Superfine Atomised Residue, known as MSAR, and its renewable counterpart bioMSAR, technologies designed to transform extra heavy oil and sustainable feedstocks into lower‑emission, lower‑cost fuel alternatives. These water‑based emulsion fuels are formulated to improve combustion efficiency and reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and particulate matter compared with conventional heavy fuels. The technology has been developed with the involvement of major industry names and is engineered to be compatible with existing engine and fuel infrastructure, which underpins its investor relevance because it reduces barriers to adoption in sectors such as shipping and power generation.

Quadrise plc (LON:QED) is an energy technology provider whose solutions enable production of cheaper, cleaner, simpler and safer alternatives to fuel oil and biofuels, proven in real world applications. Quadrise technologies produce transition fuels called MSAR® and bioMSAR™, which allow clients in the shipping, utilities and industrial sectors to reduce carbon emissions whilst also saving costs.
