Moneysupermarket.com Group appoint Lesley Jones to the board

Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC (LON:MONY) has announced the appointment of Lesley Jones as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2021. She will become a member of the Audit, Nomination and Risk Committees of the Board on the same date.

Robin Freestone, Chair of Moneysupermarket.com, said: “I’m delighted that Lesley has agreed to join our Board. With her financial services and risk experience, Lesley will be a valuable addition and complement the diverse backgrounds and experience of our Board”.

Lesley’s other roles include Chair of Sainsbury’s Bank, Independent Member at Moody’s Investors Service and Non-Executive Director at Close Brothers Group plc, where, by the end of 2022, she will have served nine years as a member and then Chair of the Risk Committee. Lesley began her career at Citigroup Inc. where she held a number of senior roles in relationship and risk management over a 30-year period. She spent over five years at RBS Group plc as Group Chief Credit Officer and was previously a Non-Executive Director of N Brown Group plc, ReAssure Group plc and Northern Bank Limited.
