Defenx Plc (LON:DFX), the cyber-security software group, has today announced following on from an announcement made on 11 July 2018, it has appointed Nic Hellyer and Giorgio Beretta as Non-executive Directors to strengthen the Company’s board of directors with immediate effect.
Following the appointment of Nic Hellyer and Giorgio Beretta the Board comprises:
Anthony Reeves – Interim Executive Chairman
Raffaele Boccardo – Interim Executive Deputy Chairman
Nic Hellyer – Non-executive Director
Giorgio Beretta – Non-executive Director
Nicholos James Hellyer (aged 55) is a Chartered Accountant and investment banker with over 25 years’ experience. Nic spent the majority of his banking career at UBS and HSBC and is currently a partner at Opus Corporate Finance and Finance Director of AIM quoted Pelatro Plc, the global precision marketing software specialist.
Giorgio Beretta (aged 60) is a qualified accountant with over 30 years’ experience and is a partner at BDO Italia. He has a breadth of public company and advisory experience, having advised on numerous IPOs, M&A transactions and fund raisings, as well as sitting as Chairman of VR Way SA, the first AIM Milan listed company.
Interim Executive Chairman of Defenx plc, Anthony Reeves, commented: “We continue to strengthen the Defenx Board with key appointments. Nic and Giorgio bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience of the public markets and we look forward to working with them.
