Cerillion secures major five‑year telecom contract

Cerillion

Cerillion has won its largest contract to date, securing a significant five‑year engagement with Oman’s national telecom operator valued at approximately £42.5 million. This agreement represents a substantial extension of the company’s international footprint and underlines its ability to compete effectively in complex global tenders against larger technology vendors.

Under the terms of the contract, Cerillion will provide its full suite of business support systems and operations support systems (BSS/OSS) software to Omantel, in addition to ongoing hosting, managed services, implementation support, maintenance and upgrades. The platform is designed to support the operator’s mobile, fixed‑line and broadband services across consumer, corporate and wholesale markets. Preliminary work on the programme is already underway and will feed into delivery milestones over the next five years.

The deal emerged from a competitive procurement process and reflects Cerillion’s productised service delivery model, which emphasises seamless upgrades, operational flexibility and lower total cost of ownership relative to more bespoke alternatives. The contract bolsters the company’s existing backlog and aligns with forecasts for revenue recognition across the current financial year and beyond. It also reinforces investor confidence in Cerillion’s ability to secure large, repeat orders from major telecommunications players.

Cerillion plc (LON:CER) is a leading provider of billing, charging and customer management systems with more than 20 years’ experience delivering its solutions across a broad range of industries including the telecommunications, finance, utilities and transportation sectors.
