Cerillion’s Norlys project shows the scale of its BSS opportunity

Cerillion

Cerillion’s work with Danish energy and telecommunications provider Norlys is centred on a major BSS transformation that will replace four legacy systems with a single new platform.

Gert Rieder of Norlys said the company had built up a complex technology estate after more than 20 years of mergers and acquisitions. Norlys wanted to simplify that environment and selected Cerillion as the provider of a new BSS system intended to support the business over the long term.

The project covers Norlys’ television, fibre and broadband customers and is one of the largest IT transformation programmes the company has undertaken. Its main objectives are to reduce the number of legacy systems, lower costs and improve the customer experience.

For Cerillion, the project demonstrates its ability to support a large and complex migration involving several existing BSS platforms. The scale of the programme also means delivery quality and project management are important alongside the software itself.

Cerillion plc (LON:CER) is a leading provider of billing, charging and customer management systems with more than 20 years’ experience delivering its solutions across a broad range of industries including the telecommunications, finance, utilities and transportation sectors.
