Cerillion’s Sinal project points to scalable demand in fibre software

Cerillion

Sinal is Denmark’s largest open-access fibre network owner and operator. It provides high-speed fibre infrastructure to households and businesses, with multiple service providers using its network to reach end customers. As the business grew, Sinal needed a stronger software platform to manage increasing network scale, more complex order flows and future service migrations.

The company selected Cerillion to modernise its BSS/OSS environment through an upgrade to Cerillion 25.2 and a wider programme of operational improvements. The project was aimed at giving Sinal a platform that could support expansion, simplify internal processes and improve control across its fibre operations.

Sinal’s previous environment had become less suitable for a larger and more complex fibre business. The company needed better visibility across distributed order processes, less manual effort in software releases and a more unified view of infrastructure data. It also needed to prepare for the migration of 65,000 services linked to the EWII fibre network acquisition.

Cerillion’s upgraded platform addresses these issues directly. Load balancing improves performance and resilience. Enhanced observability gives Sinal better visibility across order processing systems. Automated deployments reduce manual work and lower execution risk during releases. These improvements help Sinal run a larger network with greater consistency and fewer operational bottlenecks.
