Centrica reports 2026 half-year results and declares 2.0p dividend

Centrica Plc (LON:CNA) has announced its 2026 interim dividend and provided details of its financial calendar alongside the availability of its half-year results on the corporate website.

DIVIDENDS

Dividends represent the return of profits to shareholders, and are paid as an amount per ordinary share held.

The proposed interim dividend is 2.0p per share for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The dividend will be paid on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 to those shareholders registered on Friday, 21 August 2026.

The Company has sufficient distributable reserves to pay dividends to its ultimate shareholders. Distributable reserves are calculated on an individual legal entity basis and the ultimate parent company, Centrica plc, currently has adequate levels of realised profits within its retained earnings to support dividend payments.
