Babcock International hosts Capital Markets Day, outlining Growth Strategy and Defence Industry role

Babcock International

Babcock International Group PLC (LON:BAB) will today host a Capital Markets Day for institutional investors and analysts at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth.

Chief Executive Officer, David Lockwood and Chief Financial Officer, David Mellors will be joined by a range of senior leaders from across the Group to provide further detail on the Company’s strategy to deliver high-quality profitable growth.

The event will demonstrate the critical role Babcock plays in the defence industry, and outline:

•     How its differentiated business model meets customer requirements of availability, affordability and capability;

•     Its position as a key supplier to governments; with deep platform knowledge, engineering know-how and customer relationships which support sustainable profitable growth;

•     Its ability to drive margin improvements from enhanced operational performance, technical and programme risk management and the unwind of legacy contracts.

On 14 November 2023 the Company published its half-year results highlighting a strong start to the year. The Board’s expectations for another year of organic revenue growth, underlying operating margin expansion and positive cash flow generation are unchanged, and we continue to build momentum to achieve the medium-term guidance.
