Airtel Money set to begin trading on London Stock Exchange

Airtel Africa plc (LON:AAF), a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services across 14 African markets, has noted that following the announcement on 1 October 2026 confirming the offer price for the Airtel Mobile Commerce N.V. (Airtel Money) initial public offering (IPO), Airtel Money has today announced the final details of the Offer (the ‘Announcement’).

Airtel Africa is not selling existing Airtel Money shares in the Offer and is expected to remain a long-term strategic shareholder and to support Airtel Money’s next phase of development as an independently listed business.

The Announcement notes that conditional dealings in the Airtel Money shares on the Main Market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange is expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 9 October 2026. Admission to the equity shares (commercial companies) category of the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the Main Market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange, and the commencement of unconditional dealings in the Airtel Money shares on the London Stock Exchange, is expected to occur at 8.00 a.m. on 14 October 2026.
