Strix Group names Andy Rainforth as Chief Executive Officer

Strix Group plc (LON:KETL), the global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of kettle safety controls and other components and devices involving water heating and temperature control, steam management and water filtration, has announced the appointment of Andy Rainforth as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 13 July 2026.

Andy brings over 30 years of international business leadership experience, having successfully led multi-country product and technology businesses across manufacturing, hardware, SaaS, and channel-led models. His proven track record includes P&L leadership, driving operational improvements, and delivering value creation plans in complex and regulated global markets.

Prior to joining Strix, Andy served as Group Chief Commercial Officer at A-SAFE Ltd, a PE-backed global manufacturer and technology-enabled safety business, and as Managing Director and Group Commercial Lead at AIM quoted Grosvenor Technology / Newmark Security Plc. He has also held senior leadership roles at Honeywell Security Group and founded SecurePro Ltd, demonstrating entrepreneurial acumen and expertise in scaling businesses.

Andy holds an MBA with Distinction from Manchester Business School and has completed executive education at the University of Cambridge and SOAS, University of London.
