LAICA targets higher-value food preservation with VT3250

STRIX GROUP PLC

LAICA introduced the VT3250, a professional-style vacuum sealing machine designed for consumers who need more capacity, faster operation and greater control over food storage.

The model strengthens LAICA’s position in food preservation by moving beyond basic domestic sealing. It supports vacuum bags and rolls up to 40 centimetres wide, making it suitable for larger portions, bulk food preparation and family-sized storage.

The VT3250 uses a dual suction pump with a stated capacity of 25 litres per minute and includes a double sealing bar. LAICA says the machine can complete up to 100 consecutive automatic cycles.

The product is built around flexibility. Users can select different vacuum and sealing settings depending on the type of food being stored. Partial vacuum is available for delicate items, while adjustable suction and manual pulse control provide more precise handling of dry, soft, moist or liquid-containing foods.

Three sealing settings, strong, medium and standard, allow the machine to adapt to different requirements. The VT3250 also includes an extractable and washable liquid collection tray, helping manage foods that release moisture during the vacuum process.

LAICA has also focused on ease of use. The machine includes a locking system designed for one-handed operation, an integrated roll compartment, a bidirectional cutter and a progress indicator. These features reduce preparation steps and make the machine more practical for frequent use.

The VT3250 is supplied with a 40 by 300 centimetre vacuum roll, allowing it to be used immediately. Its wider commercial relevance, however, comes from compatibility with LAICA’s existing food preservation accessories.

The machine works with conventional vacuum bags and rolls, reusable vacuum bags, Thermo Resistant bags for sous vide cooking, Smart glass containers and plastic containers. Some compatible plastic containers can also be used for rapid marinating.
