Sintana Energy highlights Orange Basin exploration opportunities

Sintana Energy

Sintana Energy stands to benefit from continued exploration activity in Namibia’s Orange Basin, where TotalEnergies is advancing plans to test further offshore oil and gas prospects.

Sintana has exposure to the region through its interests in offshore exploration licences in Namibia. The Orange Basin has attracted increased industry attention following major discoveries, including Venus and Mopane, and further exploration could help establish the scale of its hydrocarbon resources.

TotalEnergies’ exploration plans are relevant to the wider basin, where drilling results could influence assessments of geological potential and future development opportunities. However, commercial outcomes will depend on exploration success, reservoir quality, development costs and the infrastructure needed to bring discoveries into production.

For Sintana, continued activity in the Orange Basin provides a focus for assessing the potential value of its exploration interests. Further drilling and appraisal work across the region could provide additional information about the basin’s prospects, although exploration remains subject to considerable uncertainty.

Sintana Energy Inc (TSX-V:SEI, OTCQX:SEUSF) is a public oil and natural gas exploration company listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange.
