RM heads to EDUtech Asia 2026 to expand education technology reach

RM plc is set to attend EDUtech Asia 2026 in Singapore as the education technology sector focuses increasingly on artificial intelligence, digital assessment and the practical challenges of implementing new technology.

The event takes place on 4 and 5 November 2026 and will bring together education leaders, policymakers and practitioners from across Asia. Discussions will cover AI literacy, governance, personalised learning, institutional change and the evidence required to support technology adoption.

RM’s APAC Director, Hans Moningka, will attend the conference as a delegate, giving the company an opportunity to engage with education organisations across the region. The company’s participation places its assessment and education technology activities in front of institutions considering digital transformation and the use of AI.

For RM, the event provides a platform to discuss how education providers can introduce technology while maintaining trust, security and practical benefits for teachers and learners. These issues are particularly relevant to RM Assessment, which provides digital assessment services to education organisations and awarding bodies.

The company is also using its experience in Singapore to demonstrate how digital assessment can be implemented at national level. RM worked with the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) to introduce on-screen marking for national examinations.

The programme brought locally marked Singapore-Cambridge GCE-Level subjects and PSLE examinations onto an on-screen marking system. According to RM, the change reduced the number of teachers required for PSLE marking from 14,000 to around 7,000 and reduced the marking period from four days to three. RM also states that the programme cut marking costs by 25%.

RM plc (LON:RM) is a global EdTech provider of learning and assessment solutions, supporting the full learning journey, from early years through to higher education and professional qualifications.
