Reckitt Benckiser appoints Marybeth Hay as a Non-Executive Director

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (LON:RKT) has announced the appointment of Marybeth Hays, a former Walmart senior executive, to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective 1 February 2024.

Marybeth brings more than 25 years of experience in retail, healthcare and consumer goods to the Reckitt Board. From October 2009 until February 2019, she held various roles of increasing P&L responsibility at three of the four operating divisions of Walmart, including most recently as Executive Vice President of Consumables and Health & Wellness for Walmart U.S., and as Chief Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain Officer for Walmart China.  Prior to that, Marybeth served as Senior Vice President/General Merchandising Manager for two Walmart U.S. divisions and at Sam’s Club, as Merchandising Vice President at Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and held brand management roles as Vice President of Marketing at HanesBrands, Inc. 

Ms. Hays is currently a director and member of the audit committee of JOANN Stores, Inc., and serves on the board of directors for Leapfrog Brands, Affordable Care and Decowraps. Marybeth is an executive-in-residence with Kearney, and works directly with clients through her company, Hays Advising LLC. She earned both her M.B.A. and B.A. from Wake Forest University where she serves as a University Trustee and is a member of the Business School Board of Visitors.
