Pharos Energy expands Egyptian oil and gas presence

Pharos Energy Plc

Pharos Energy is strengthening its position in Egypt, where its local subsidiary is involved in oil and gas exploration and production across three concession areas.

Pharos El Fayum Egypt Branch operates as the company’s Egyptian subsidiary and is focused on exploring for and producing oil and gas in the country. The business is a contractor member in the El Fayum, North Beni Suef and South Wadi El Rayan concession areas.

The company’s presence across multiple concession areas gives it exposure to Egypt’s established oil and gas sector, while maintaining a focus on exploration and production activities.

Pharos Energy’s Egyptian operations form part of its wider upstream portfolio, with the country providing an important area of activity for the group.

The company is also supporting industry engagement in Egypt through its involvement with MOC2026, where Pharos Energy has been announced as a sponsor. The event provides an opportunity for companies operating in the country’s energy sector to connect with industry participants and discuss developments across the oil and gas market.

Pharos Energy Plc (LON:PHAR) is an independent energy company with a focus on delivering long-term sustainable value for all stakeholders through regular cash returns and organic growth, underpinned by a robust cash flow and resilient balance sheet.
