Meridian Holdings is taking its Expanse Studios gaming business to the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas as it looks to build further operator and platform relationships across regulated international markets. Expanse will exhibit at G2E from 28 September to 1 October at The Venetian Expo, where it will showcase its latest slot and crash games to casino operators, aggregators and platform partners.
The B2B studio has built a portfolio of nearly 100 proprietary casino titles, distributed across more than 1,800 casino brands worldwide. Expanse develops content for Meridian’s own operations as well as third-party operators, giving the company two routes to commercialise its games.
A key part of the expansion is regulatory coverage. Expanse now has content certifications in more than 15 regulated markets, including Malta, Portugal, Sweden, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia and Slovenia. Those approvals allow Expanse to offer its content to operators in these jurisdictions once commercial agreements are in place.
Over the past year, Expanse has added operator and aggregator partnerships while extending its regulatory coverage. The combination gives the studio a larger addressable market for its existing games and new releases.
G2E provides an opportunity to put those products directly in front of potential customers. The studio will use the event to present its latest games while meeting operators, aggregators and platform companies that can potentially distribute its content.
Expanse already has a sizeable game portfolio and regulatory approvals across multiple European markets. The next stage is converting that existing infrastructure into further commercial agreements.
