Meridian Holdings has expanded the market reach of its Expanse Studios subsidiary through a new content distribution agreement with MaxBet, one of Serbia’s largest omni-channel gaming operators and a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment.
The agreement is already live, meaning Expanse Studios’ games are now available to MaxBet players in Serbia.
Expanse Studios develops online casino content, including slots, crash games, turn-based games and card games. The business sits within Meridian’s B2B strategy, where proprietary gaming content is distributed through licensed operators in regulated markets. The MaxBet deal adds a strong local partner in Serbia and places Expanse titles in front of an established player base.
MaxBet is estimated to hold around 15% to 20% of Serbia’s online gaming market. Content distribution deals are most valuable when they connect game studios with operators that already have scale, active users and local market knowledge. MaxBet brings each of those elements, while its ownership by Flutter Entertainment adds further credibility to the channel.
The agreement also supports Meridian’s wider focus on building recurring B2B revenue opportunities. Expanse has more than 1,500 operator partnerships globally and a portfolio of more than 70 proprietary titles. Adding MaxBet extends that distribution base and helps Meridian get more value from content it already owns.
Meridian Holdings plc (formally Golden Matrix Group, Inc.) (Nasdaq:MRDN) positions itself as a leader in the iGaming technology space, offering casino, sportsbook, and competition products and combining cutting-edge solutions with a strong portfolio of partnerships to drive growth and innovation in the digital gaming market.
