James Cropper plc (LON:CRPR), the Advanced Materials and Paper & Packaging group, provides a trading update for the 22-week period ended 28 August 2026, ahead of its Annual General Meeting taking place at 11:30am today.
The Group has made a strong start to the year. Management focus remains on strategy implementation which continues to drive improved business performance.
Advanced Materials revenue remains broadly in line with the same period in the prior year. Paper & Packaging has delivered a particularly strong performance in the Period, reflecting high demand from established customers augmented by new business wins accelerating the momentum delivered in the second half of FY26.
The Board expects full year trading to be in line with market expectations.
The Group expects to release its interim results for the six months ending 30 September 2026 in November 2026.
