James Cropper has launched a new Paper Portal bringing its paper ranges, colour expertise, specialist manufacturing capabilities and creative partnerships together in a single resource for designers, printers and brands.
The Paper Portal is designed to give users a physical way to explore James Cropper’s paper products, allowing colours, surfaces and finishes to be compared directly rather than relying solely on digital design tools. The company launched the resource on 7th September 2026.
The portal covers James Cropper’s existing paper ranges alongside specialist and bespoke capabilities. Its five folders cover Black & White, Colours, Capabilities, Bespoke and Collaboration, with the collaboration section featuring either the company’s Coloursource partnership with Winter & Company or a collection created with Foilco.
The resource is intended to support both standard product selection and more customised projects. Users can explore established papers and colours before moving into specialist finishes, manufacturing capabilities and bespoke paper development.
The physical format is central to the Paper Portal. James Cropper says the resource allows users to compare colours side by side, examine surfaces and assess finishes by handling the material. The outer case was manufactured by Showcase Creative and is available in three Vanguard colourways, with embossing and Foilco foil finishes used to demonstrate some of the converting options available with the company’s papers.
The portal also includes additional resources, including the company’s Sometimes It Is Black & White myth-busting sheets and Freedoms of Expression work. These materials are intended to provide further information and ideas alongside the paper samples.
