itim Group launches PromoView to turn store screens into advertising assets

itim Group

itim Group has launched PromoView, a retail media product that allows retailers to generate advertising revenue from customer-facing screens already installed in their stores.

Many point-of-sale screens are used only for operational purposes or remain underused. PromoView gives retailers a direct way to turn those existing displays into commercial assets by showing supplier-funded video content to customers at the point of purchase.

The system allows retailers to manage a central library of promotional videos and schedule content across screens throughout the store. This gives retailers control over what is shown, where it appears and when campaigns run.

Retailers can sell screen space to suppliers and brands that want to promote products inside the store. This creates an additional revenue stream without requiring a full replacement of existing hardware.

Using screens already in place may also reduce the cost and time needed to launch an in-store retail media offering. Retailers can begin with their current digital estate, assess supplier demand and expand the model as the opportunity develops.

PromoView is designed to place promotions close to the final buying decision. Content shown at tills, service points or other customer-facing locations can support product awareness and highlight relevant offers while shoppers are still in the store.
