Fuuse and Drax to take over support for 14,000 bp pulse fleet chargers

Drax Group plc

Fuuse and Drax Electric Vehicles have partnered to transfer almost 1,000 bp pulse fleet charging customers to new management and maintenance services, covering more than 14,000 charging sockets across the UK.

Fuuse will lead the migration to its charging management platform, while Drax will provide nationwide maintenance and servicing. The arrangement will allow fleet operators to retain compatible existing charging equipment rather than replace it, with existing hardware warranties continuing after the transfer.

The transition follows bp pulse’s decision to withdraw from the UK fleet depot charging market in 2025. The partnership follows more than a year of collaboration, hardware testing and platform development to prepare for the transfer.

For fleet operators, the agreement provides a route to maintain charging infrastructure and reduce disruption to vehicle operations. However, some downtime is expected during migration, and certain historical charging records and control settings will not automatically transfer.

The partnership builds on Drax’s existing electric vehicle charging activities and Fuuse’s charging management software business, expanding their roles in supporting commercial fleet infrastructure.

Drax Group plc (LON:DRX), trading as Drax, is a power generation business. The principal downstream enterprises are based in the UK and include Drax Power Limited, which runs the biomass fuelled Drax power station, near Selby in North Yorkshire.
