Corero Network Security is hosting a webcast on 3rd June 2026 to discuss the latest DDoS attack trends and what they mean for network operators, service providers and enterprises.
The session will feature Senior Security Services Engineer Teressa Carlin and Global Channel Chief and VP of Channel Sales Michelle McBain. They will discuss findings from Corero’s forthcoming 2026 Threat Intelligence Report, with a focus on how DDoS attacks changed during 2025 and why speed of response is becoming more important.
DDoS attacks are getting larger, shorter and more complex. Corero says peak attack sizes increased 262% year on year, while pulse attacks reached terabit scale and often lasted less than six seconds. It also points to attacks using more than 50 vectors at the same time, with campaigns able to adapt as defences respond.
Corero is highlighting a threat environment where slower mitigation models may struggle, particularly if attacks are over before traditional systems can respond effectively. That places greater emphasis on always-on protection and fast, automated detection.
DDoS attacks can disrupt services, affect customers and create business continuity risks. As attacks become faster and more targeted, organisations may need protection that works without manual intervention or delayed traffic rerouting.
