Cerillion wins two 6 year agreements worth £4.3m with OpenNet

Cerillion plc

Cerillion plc (LON:CER), the billing, charging and customer relationship management software solutions provider, has announced two agreements worth a combined £4.3m with OpenNet, the Danish telecoms business that links fibre infrastructure owners and service providers.

The agreements cover a six year contract extension in which OpenNet will upgrade its core BSS platform to Cerillion’s latest technology, ‘Cerillion 21’.  The upgrade will include Cerillion’s ‘Enterprise Product Catalogue’, allowing OpenNet to build, test and deploy new wholesale products for its partners. OpenNet will also join Cerillion’s ‘Evergreen Software Programme’, which facilitates ready access to future software upgrades and latest product developments. Cerillion’s new customer relationship management (“CRM”) framework will also provide OpenNet with much greater flexibility in deployment and a more intuitive user experience. In a second agreement, OpenNet has significantly increased its software licences and extended its use of Cerillion’s Managed Service and private cloud platform.

OpenNet has been a Cerillion customer since 2017, when the Company was selected to build OpenNet’s wholesale platform, based on the Cerillion Enterprise BSS/OSS* suite and including an open integration layer. The platform has helped to underpin OpenNet’s operating model of bringing together service providers and infrastructure owners.

Henrik Møller Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of OpenNet, said,

“Working with Cerillion, we have been able to very quickly establish and grow our wholesale business, safe in the knowledge we have a robust, scalable and flexible BSS platform underpinning our operations.  By extending our agreement and joining Cerillion’s Evergreen Software Programme, we are taking this to the next level, giving us access to exciting new capabilities and future-proofing our business for the challenges of tomorrow.”

Louis Hall, Chief Executive Officer of Cerillion plc, commented,

“We have established a very productive relationship with OpenNet, and are delighted to be extending it with this six year contract. We look forward to continuing to power the ongoing growth of OpenNet’s innovative and growing business.”
