Workspace Group

Workspace Group PLC (LON:WKP), London’s leading owner and operator of sustainable, flexible work space, has announced the appointment of Lawrence Hutchings as its CEO Designate. Lawrence will replace Graham Clemett, who informed the Board in January of his decision to retire from Workspace.

Lawrence is expected to join Workspace following completion of a notice period at Capital & Regional. A further update on timing will be provided in due course.

Duncan Owen, Chair, commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Lawrence as our next CEO following a rigorous process. With over 30 years’ deep experience in the real estate industry and significant expertise in customer-centric operating businesses, Lawrence is ideally placed to take the role. The Board and I look forward to working with Lawrence as Workspace continues to evolve its flexible offer in a growing part of the market.”

Lawrence Hutchings, CEO Designate, commented:

“I am honoured to have been selected by the Board as Workspace’s new CEO. Workspace sits at the heart of the flex market with a legacy of supporting London SMEs and a significant opportunity to continue its evolution in the future. I look forward to working with the rest of the team as I get to know the business.”

Graham Clemett, Chief Executive Officer commented:

“Lawrence is a great appointment to lead Workspace in the next stage of its growth. I look forward to working with him to ensure a smooth transition.”
