Strix Group PLC Announce Gary Lamb as Non-Executive Chairman

Strix Group Plc (LON:KETL), the AIM listed global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of kettle safety controls is pleased to announce that Gary Lamb has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with immediate effect. Gary held the position of interim Chairman since the Company’s Admission to AIM in August 2017 and is now taking on the position on a permanent basis.

Mark Bartlett, Chief Executive, commented: “The Board is delighted that Gary has taken on the permanent position of Chairman of Strix. Gary has a long history with Strix dating back over 20 years which, combined with his public company experience, will be invaluable to the Company.”

Isle of Man based Strix Group Plc, is a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of kettle safety controls and other components and devices involving water heating and temperature control, steam management and water filtration.

Strix’s core product range comprises a variety of safety controls for small domestic appliances, primarily kettles. Kettle safety controls require precision engineering and intricate knowledge of material properties in order to repeatedly function correctly. Strix has built up market leading capability and know-how in this field since being founded in 1982.
