Smiths Group plc (LON:SMIN) is hosting an investor and analyst event today at its John Crane facility in Slough, with presentations and a site tour. The presentations will be available to view on the Smiths website at www.smiths.com.

The event will focus on John Crane as a powerful example of Smiths’ strategy in action. John Crane is a leading provider of highly engineered mission-critical technologies with a large installed base, long-standing customer relationships and a global service network. It has excellent positions in secularly attractive markets with long-term growth drivers, particularly from the energy transition, and delivers strong financial performance with high margins and returns.

The event will be led by Smiths Group CEO, Paul Keel, and will feature presentations from the John Crane senior leadership team:

·    Bernard Cicut, John Crane President, will provide an overview of the business and illustrate how John Crane implements its strategy to serve its end markets and create sustainable competitive advantage;

·    Sook Won Moon, VP Sales & Aftermarket, will cover key commercial aspects of the business and how the long-term growth of the business is supported by the value it provides to customers;

·    Frank Ma, VP of New Energy Solutions, will discuss how John Crane’s expertise and proven portfolio of products and services supports customers in both conventional and new energy markets; and

·    Rob Sharman, VP Customer Operations, will discuss the successful execution from first order through to OE delivery and aftermarket service, and how John Crane has been scaling supply to meet growing demand.
