RM explores strategic collaboration to expand digital assessment delivery

RM plc is exploring a strategic collaboration between its RM Assessment business and International Testing & Training Services (ITTS) to provide a more integrated service for high-stakes digital examinations.

The proposed collaboration will combine RM Assessment’s digital assessment technology with ITTS’s international examination infrastructure and operational expertise. The aim is to bring together the technology and practical arrangements needed to manage examinations securely across different countries and testing environments.

RM Assessment provides digital assessment and marking solutions, including its RM Ava platform, which supports assessment organisations throughout the examination process. ITTS provides international testing services, including candidate registration, booking systems, physical test centres, online invigilation and examination management.

By combining these capabilities, the organisations intend to develop a more coordinated approach to examination delivery, covering booking, assessment, security, incident management and candidate support.

The collaboration is intended to support awarding bodies and professional assessment organisations seeking to deliver examinations across multiple markets. It would allow them to retain control over examination content, standards and candidate data while drawing on established technology and international delivery networks.

The two organisations are continuing to explore opportunities to develop the integrated approach. The commercial impact will depend on how the collaboration develops and whether it leads to additional customer relationships and assessment programmes.

RM plc (LON:RM) is a global EdTech provider of learning and assessment solutions, supporting the full learning journey, from early years through to higher education and professional qualifications.
