Record Plc has reported a 7% rise in assets under management to $130.3 billion for the three months ended 30 September 2026, up from $122.0 billion at the end of June.
Record plc is a specialist asset manager focused on three product pillars: Risk Management, Absolute Return and Private Markets. The company said assets under advisory are client assets for which it earns recurring fees but is not the appointed investment manager, while undeployed commitments relate to Private Markets capital not yet invested.
The specialist asset manager also recorded net inflows of $10.4 billion during the quarter, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of positive net flows.
Quarterly AUM movement
The increase in group AUM reflected gains across the portfolio, led by Absolute Return and Private Markets. At 30 September 2026, Risk Management AUM stood at $95.9 billion, compared with $98.7 billion three months earlier. Absolute Return rose to $14.6 billion from $4.4 billion, while Private Markets increased to $19.8 billion from $18.9 billion.
Record said the quarter’s net inflows were driven mainly by new mandates within Absolute Return and Private Markets. This was partly offset by underlying asset movements and foreign exchange effects.
Within the quarter, the group reported asset movement of $(0.1) billion and foreign exchange movement of $(2.0) billion, while net flows contributed $10.4 billion in total.
Other balance sheet items
At the end of September, the group held undeployed commitments of $1.1 billion within Private Markets, compared with $1.2 billion at 30 June 2026. Assets under advisory remained unchanged at $0.4 billion.
Performance fees of £2.2 million were crystallised in the first half of FY27, up from £0.8 million in the same period a year earlier. Record said performance across the group remains in line with expectations for the full year.
Chief executive Jan Witte described the period as another quarter of strong growth, saying AUM had reached a new high. He added that further details on group performance will be provided in interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2026, due on 6 November 2026.
