NQ Minerals Plc Receives Mining Lease for Sunbeam Silver Mine

NQ Minerals Plc (NEX:NQMI) (OTCQB:NQMLF), an Australia-based exploration and mining company, has today announced that, further to the receipt of a required Queensland Environmental Authority, the Company has been granted a Mining Lease for its wholly-owned Sunbeam Silver Mine (“Sunbeam”). Sunbeam is the most advanced of 33 prospects on the Company’s Ukalunda project (“Ukalunda”) located in the Charters Towers Mining District of Northern Queensland, Australia.

The Sunbeam Mining Lease allows NQ Minerals Plc to conduct larger-scale mining operations starting with the processing of approximately 48,000 tonnes of surface mineral stockpiles at Sunbeam. The Company has undertaken a comprehensive program of rock chip sampling, mapping of the ore stockpiles, mineralogy and metallurgy. This work has indicated that the ore stockpiles contain minerals including: gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc and antimony which all have commercial value. The work program on the high-grade stockpiles will require no excavation as the piles of ore sit in rows above ground.

A special report on Sunbeam was recently completed by independent analyst Dr. Michael Green who specializes in resource and growth companies. The Company invites shareholders and investors to view the report by clicking the following link below:
