Likewise pushes ahead as flooring sales strengthen

Likewise Group has reported stronger sales growth as its UK expansion programme continues to move forward.

The Solihull-based flooring distributor said total revenue for the year to 16 June was 17.0% higher on a like-for-like basis. June trading was stronger again, with month-to-date revenue 20.8% ahead of the same period last year.

The update shows that demand across the business is continuing to build while the group adds further capacity to its distribution network. New projects in Glasgow, Leeds, Derby, Newport and the East Midlands remain on schedule, with the additional infrastructure expected to support growth in the second half of 2026 and into 2027.

Likewise is not only reporting higher sales, it is also increasing the scale of the platform behind those sales. A broader distribution base should help the group handle higher volumes, reach more customers and make better use of its national network as it works towards its target of £250m in annual sales revenue.

Likewise Group PLC (LON:LIKE) is a distributor of floorcoverings and matting and has the opportunity to consolidate the domestic and commercial floorcovering markets to become one of the UK’s largest distributors in this sector.
