Likewise Group is acquiring a new distribution centre in Corby, Northamptonshire, for £9.57 million as it expands the logistics capacity available across its flooring distribution network.
Completion is expected on 21 August 2026, with the new facility scheduled to begin operating in January 2027. The site forms part of the EVOCorby industrial and logistics development on Sallow Road and provides around 60,000 sq ft of space.
The acquisition gives Likewise additional storage, cutting and trunking capacity. This is intended to support higher volumes from manufacturing partners and strengthen the group’s ability to supply independent retailers and flooring contractors.
Likewise is adding capacity before the facility becomes operational, giving the group several months to prepare the site and integrate it into its wider distribution network.
The warehouse includes 54,804 sq ft of dedicated warehouse space, 12.5 metre eaves, four dock access doors and two level access doors, together with a 40 metre yard. It is rated BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ and has been described as a net carbon zero high-bay warehouse facility.
The purchase follows a fundraising completed earlier in August. Likewise raised almost £30 million to support its expansion, with both institutional and retail offers reported as oversubscribed. The company has also highlighted banking facilities available from its principal lenders.
Management has said the Corby facility will provide more capacity for manufacturing partners and help the group continue serving independent retailers and flooring contractors.
