Law Debenture adds senior capital markets expertise to support IPS growth

LWDB

Law Debenture has appointed Louise Keary as Senior Commercial and Legal Partner in its Independent Professional Services division, strengthening its senior team as it targets new business and additional revenue opportunities.

Keary joins in September 2026 and will report to Chief Executive Officer Denis Jackson. Her role will focus on business development, product development and key client relationships, with a clear mandate to win new-to-firm business and identify further sources of revenue.

She will work across Law Debenture’s Corporate Trust, Structured Finance, Service of Process and Corporate Secretarial Services businesses. This gives the appointment relevance across several parts of the Independent Professional Services division rather than limiting Keary to a single legal or advisory function.

Keary joins from Clifford Chance, where she was a partner specialising in capital markets and structured finance. She advised corporate trustees and agents on a wide range of transactions, including Eurobonds, convertible bonds, high-yield bonds and EMTN programmes.

Her experience also includes securitisations such as whole business securitisations, commercial mortgage-backed securities, residential mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities. She has worked on collateralised debt obligations, collateralised loan obligations, secured lending, project finance and asset financing, including aviation transactions.

Law Debenture Corporation plc (LON:LWDB) provides a wider range of services including corporate and pension trusts, process agent services, treasury management, corporate services including for special purpose vehicles, structured finance administration and whistleblowing services.
