JPMorgan European Discovery Trust appoint new ‘outperforming’ Managers (LON:JEDT)

JPMorgan European Discovery Trust plc

JPMorgan European Discovery Trust plc (LON:JEDT), the FTSE 250 investment trust investing in a diversified portfolio of high-quality smaller companies in Continental Europe, has announced that Jon Ingram, Jack Featherby and Jules Bloch will be appointed as named Portfolio Managers with effect from 1 March 2024, replacing Francesco Conte and Edward Greaves.

The Chairman of JPMorgan European Discovery Trust, Marc van Gelder, commented:

“The Board would like to thank Francesco and Edward for their long-standing contribution to the management of the Company’s portfolio.

The Board is delighted to welcome Jon, Jack and Jules as named managers of the Company portfolio. With Jon’s extensive experience, strong long-term outperformance record and the team’s collective 37 years of experience on the J.P. Morgan Asset Management investment platform, we are confident the Company is well positioned to take advantage of the exciting growth potential of the dynamic and often overlooked European small-cap market.

The Board looks forward to working with the investment team to deliver the strong long-term returns our shareholders expect.”
