Ilika to present UK-developed quasi-solid-state cell technology at Faraday Event

Ilika Plc

Ilika will present its UK-developed quasi-solid-state cell technology at The Faraday Institution’s Next Frontiers in Energy Storage event on Tuesday 8 September.

Dr Louise Turner will deliver a presentation titled “Safe and High-Performance Quasi-Solid State Cells Developed in the UK” at 14:40, giving Ilika a focused platform to discuss the technical progress behind its latest cell development work.

The presentation centres on two areas that are critical to the development of next-generation batteries: safety and performance. By highlighting its work in quasi-solid-state cells, Ilika is positioning its technology within the wider effort to improve battery capability while addressing the limitations associated with existing cell designs.

The UK development focus is also significant. Ilika’s work sits within a broader domestic push to build expertise and technical capability in advanced energy storage. Presenting at an event organised by The Faraday Institution gives the company direct exposure to an audience already engaged with the future of battery technology and its commercial development.
