Ilika Plc Successfully passes annual ISO9001:2015 surveillance audit

Ilika plc

Ilika plc (LON: IKA), the advanced solid-state battery technology company, announced today that it has successfully passed its annual ISO9001:2015 surveillance audit and has retained its certification.

In January 2018, Ilika announced that its Quality Management System (QMS) for the development of solid-state batteries and materials research and development programmes had been assessed and found to meet the requirements of ISO9001:2015 by DAS certification. Over the past year Ilika has continued to refine and implement its QMS. As part of the standard monitoring of ISO9001:2015 certification holders, Ilika has recently been audited and confirmed to be in compliance, resulting in a recertification.

Graeme Purdy, Ilika plc CEO, commented on the news,

“An important component of the implementation of our licensing business model is preparing our technology for transfer into a manufacturing environment. ISO9001:2015 gives Ilika a structured framework for interacting with manufacturing partners like Semefab, who also have a similarly certified QMS.”
