Ilika H1 2024 Conference and Trade Show schedule

Ilika plc

Ilika PLC (LON:IKA), a pioneer in solid-state battery technology, has announced its conference and trade show schedule for the first half of 2024 – with the team attending several major MedTech and Automotive conferences. At each event Ilika representatives will either give a presentation, chair a session, form part of a panel or be available at a booth, enabling thought-leadership exchange and engagement with key industry peers and prospective business partners.

Ilika will use the MedTech conferences to further promote its developing relationship with Cirtec Medical and to provide updates on its ten-year manufacturing licence to produce the Stereax range of mm-scale batteries at Cirtec’s facility. The Company will use its attendance at Automotive conferences to raise the profile of its programme to manufacture and test batches of Goliath pouch cells as development continues to target delivery of fully characterised cells to its customers.

Medical Devices Conferences

North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) Annual Meeting

For the first time, Ilika and Cirtec Medical will be sharing a booth (#505) to jointly promote Stereax miniature solid state batteries at the 2024 NANS Annual Meeting, on January 18-21 in Las Vegas, USA.

Medical Device and Manufacturing (MD&M) West

MD&M will be held on February 6-8 in Anaheim, USA where Ilika will give a presentation to the Medical Battery Conference section of the show, discussing the potential benefits Stereax solid state batteries can deliver in miniaturisation and active implanted medical devices.

Automotive and Electric Vehicle Conferences

International Battery Seminar (IBS)

At IBS, March 12-15 in Orlando, USA, Ilika’s Product Manager, Dr Denis Pasero, will chair the “Solid State Battery Program Update” session.

Battery Tech Expo

At Battery Tech Expo, April 25 in Silverstone, UK, Ilika will provide an update on its progress developing the first Goliath solid state battery product and its activity securing the scale-up of its technology.

MOVE 2024

CEO Graeme Purdy will join a panel to discuss solid state batteries for transportation at MOVE 2024, on June 19-20 in London. Ilika will use the event to network and identify trends emerging from other prestigious shows in the calendar.

Graeme Purdy, Ilika CEO stated: “This is an exciting year for Ilika with both our Goliath and Stereax solid state batteries moving forward in line with our roadmap. Last year, we finalised our partnership with Cirtec Medical to manufacture and commercialise our Stereax mm-scale batteries, and we achieved our D4 development point and lithium-ion energy density parity with our Goliath technology for electric vehicles. As we continue with our roadmap this year, we’ll be presenting updates at key worldwide events, showing how our technology can transform both the EV and the MedTech markets.
