Hercules wins £5m of UK water sector contracts

HERC

Hercules plc (LON:HERC), a leading UK power and infrastructure services group, has announced that its Construction Services division has been awarded c. £5 million of new contracts to deliver Civils Projects work for its clients in the UK water sector during Q4 of the Company’s financial year to 30 September 2026.

The majority of these contracts, which have been secured within the Thames Water region, commenced during FY2026 and are expected to be completed in the next six months.

They comprise a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works supporting the UK’s ongoing AMP8 regulatory investment programme across the water sector, whereby Ofwat has committed more than £104 billion to water utility companies between 2025 and 2030.

The latest wins reflect Hercules’ expertise within the UK water sector and reflect the continued development of the Civil Projects business, including its growing capability to self-deliver infrastructure projects.

Commenting on the new contracts, Brusk Korkmaz, CEO of Hercules, said:

“We are pleased to have secured a further c. £5 million of contracts within the Thames Water region during the final quarter of FY2026. These awards build on the strong progress made by our Civil Projects business during the year and demonstrate the continued demand for our civil engineering and infrastructure capabilities.

“As we enter FY2027, we remain focused on leveraging our strong experience within the water sector to drive additional opportunities, and on delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently for our clients.”
