Hercules has completed the rollout of a new Pay and Bill platform and launched a dedicated Power & Energy Division as it prepares to support further growth.
The new Pay and Bill system is now live across the business. It manages workforce payments and customer invoicing, two of the company’s core administrative functions.
Hercules said the system will increase automation, improve financial and operational controls and provide better management information.
The company completed the changeover without disrupting payroll or customer billing. This reduces the risk associated with replacing systems that are essential to daily operations.
The rollout is part of Hercules’ wider business transformation programme. The final stage will be the introduction of an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
The main benefit of the new platform is that it gives Hercules a stronger operating base. If the company takes on more work, it will need systems that can handle higher activity levels without creating delays or weakening financial control.
At the same time, Hercules has launched a new Power & Energy Division.
The division will focus on opportunities in the UK power and energy market, including electricity transmission and distribution. Creating a separate division gives Hercules a clearer structure for developing this part of the business. It also puts dedicated management in place to pursue contracts and build customer relationships in the sector.
Marcus White has been appointed Managing Director of the new division. He brings previous experience in the sector and established industry relationships.
