Future plc Issue of Consideration Shares

Future plc (LON: FUTR) announced today that it has issued 686,497 ordinary shares of 15 pence each as part of the consideration for the acquisition of Barcroft Studios, as announced on 15th November 2019.

Application has therefore been made for the admission of the New Ordinary Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market for listed securities. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the Company’s existing ordinary shares and Admission is expected to occur at 8.00am on the 2nd December 2019.

Following the allotment of the New Ordinary Shares, it is expected that the total number of shares in issue will be 98,014,275. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 98,014,275. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
